About this Speaker
Dr. Brodsky is a board-certified Pediatric Emergency Medicine physician who specializes in pediatric telehealth in addition to his clinical duties in central New Jersey and Eastern Pennsylvania. He was initially trained at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey for both medical school and pediatric residency. After his emergency medicine fellowship at the Children's Hospital of the Kings Daughters in Norfolk, Virginia, he returned to the northeast where he pursued his clinical career as well as his interest in telemedicine. At the Bristol-Myers Squibb Children's Hospital in New Jersey, he has developed a comprehensive pediatric telemedicine program which connects pediatric expertise to adult emergency facilities within the state. His model has also connected pediatric subspecialists to a NICU environment where such clinical consults are needed. He is currently engaged in using telemedicine to protect physicians and families presenting to the emergency department during the COVID-19 pandemic.
